Literature Text

I really don't know the real reason on why I had to write this. The feelings that I was trying to get out of it. Maybe it is something else.

Illusion
Sitting in your room
In the corner where
You can’t be seen

Tears of your regret
Run down your cheeks
The salty taste
In your mouth
Reminds you of the taste
Of the blood, you drank
Last night in the bathroom

Getting up from your
Corner of you lovely room
You walk to the bathroom
All alone...

Looking in the minor at
Yourself, how lonely
You have become.

Keeping your secrets to yourself
To move to the draw where you
Keep the knife that will end it all

You hear the knocking on the door
“I’ll be a minute”
Are the words that you call back

Bring the knife up
To your own right wrist
Thinking…
“Is this the way?”

Before you have the time
You already slit your wrist
The blood running down the sink
A smile on your lips

“That feels so much better”
You say to yourself
A laugh came from you

Forgetting about the pain
That was in your mind
You draw to the wrist
That does not even hurt

S'got some typos, but other than that 'tis quite good. The way the 3rd stanza sort of echos the 1st is great, you should use that technique again for sure. Now I can't really relate, as I haven't known any cutters personally, but I met a few in Elftown, and I'm sure they'd be able to understand. Nicely done. ~Kay
